VEGAN CINNAMON APPLE BITES š
Something quick, light and perfect for Fall: These cinnamon apple bites are a wonderful healthy snack with ONLY 68 CALORIES per piece. All the ingredients you need youāll probably already have in your pantry. š
š“RECIPE FOR 12 BITESš“
2 Apples (~250g)
1 Tbsp Flax Seeds (~20g)
2 Tbsp Warm Water
30g š±-based Protein Powder (I used womensbest Vegan Vanilla Flavor)
50g Spelt Flour
80ml Almond Milk (or any other milk)
50g Granulated Stevia
Additional Water
2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Pinch of Salt
1ļøā£ Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F). Create a flax egg by mixing flax seeds and warm water together and setting it aside. Cut the apples, place them in a bowl and add 1 Tsp of cinnamon to them.
2ļøā£ Combine all dry ingredients together. Add the milk and the flax egg and stir. Now start adding more water to get a creamy batter – the amount depends on the protein powder youāre using.
3ļøā£ Place the batter on a small lined baking tray and spread the apples on top. Bake for about 20-30 minutes (Check the consistency of your tart after 15-20 minutes).
