HEALTHY VEGAN “ZIMTSTERNE”⭐️
This is my all time favorite Christmas treat: cinnamon stars! They are light, sweet, simple to make and they’re gone very fast haha 🙈
So if you’re still in the mood of baking something every one will love, this is THE MOST WONDERFUL RECIPE for you!

[1 Star: CALS 30 ~ 1.4C ~ 0.7P ~ 2.3F]
100g Ground Hazelnuts
75g Ground Almonds
40g Powdered Erythritol
1 Orange (whole zest)
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1.5 Tbsp Cinnamon
For the icing:
80ml Aqua Faba
90g Powdered Sugar
Simply mix 1 to 3 ratio of lemon juice and powdered Erythritol for a normal coating
1️⃣ Mix dry ingredients, add orange zest, lemon juice and water and combine until you can form a dough ball.
2️⃣ Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
3️⃣ Beat the aqua faba and gradually add powdered sugar until you have a stiff consistency.
4️⃣ Let the dough warm up. If your dough feels dry, add a bit of water. Flour a surface, place the dough on top and roll it out. Use a cookie cutter and cut your stars.
Pre-heat the oven to 180C (150F).
5️⃣ Beat the aqua faba again if necessary. Then use a teaspoon to spread it evenly on top of the stars.
6️⃣ Bake the stars for about 12 minutes until small bubbles form on top and let them cool entirely so the aqua faba icing can fully harden.
▶️ If you’re not doing the special topping, bake the stars for 10 minutes and either top them with the lemon juice & powdered Erythritol icing or eat them as they are 😋
