HEALTHY SCHNITZEL & VEGGIE PLATE š¤š½
I admit it: I love vegan meat substitutes! I think a lot of them are really tasty and some are better than the real meaty version! I didnāt stop eating meat because of the taste – I personally like the taste of it – but for my own health, all animals & environmental reasons I believe that ing a plant-based diet is a big step in the right direction!š
This plate has been my homage to my old love for Schnitzel with the delicious alternative from veganz !š¤¤
š“RECIPEš“
1 Vegan Schnitzel
1 Tsp Oil
100g Peas (I used a frozen package)
200g Zucchini
200g Cherry Tomatoes
1 Scallion
Salt & Pepper
Oregano
1ļøā£ Chop the zucchini, heat up oil in a frying pan and toss the peas and zucchini in. Let fry and season generously.
2ļøā£ Push the veggies to the side of the pan and fry your schnitzel. Season it with salt & pepper. Slice the tomatoes in half.
3ļøā£ Now comes the fun part: place the tomatoes with the inside down in the pan and let them sit for about 2-3 minutes on low heat. Use a spatula and gently take the tomatoes out.
Sprinkle the scallion on top of your plate for some freshness and enjoy this delicate & healthy plate.š
