CHOC-ORANGE ENERGY BALLS 🍊
If you’re a fan of chocolate and oranges, this is the perfect christmassy treat for you! 😋
But beware, the recipe is more on the bitter and rich side of taste, so if you’d rather have something sweet check out my vegan snowball cookies 😇
🍴RECIPE for 13 BALLS🍴
[1/13: CALS 73 ~ 1.4C~ 1P~ 7F]
20g Cocoa Powder
60g Grated Coconut
30g Coconut Oil
20g Almond Flour (or shredded nuts)
30g Powdered Sweetener (I used Erythritol – use more to taste)
5 Tbsp Orange Juice
Topping: 10g Grated Coconut
1️⃣ Heat up the oil so it gets liquid-y. Squeeze half an orange and safe the juice in a separate glass.
2️⃣ Mix all dry ingredients and add the oil. Combine well and add 2 Tbsp of orange juice. Combine (with hands) again and add more Tbsp until the consistency is firm enough to easily form balls.
3️⃣ Form about 13 balls and roll them in the grated coconut as a topping. Place them in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours as they harden a bit more over time.
⏺ These choc-orange balls taste best the next day and can be stored in the fridge for appr. 5-7 days / in the freezer for appr. 1 month!
Have a happy weekend and save this recipe for your next Christmas baking action 🤟🏽😍
