FRIED CINNAMON APPLES on top of CREAMY PROTEIN PORRIDGE 💙
Ok, it’s official: Quarantine messed up my daily schedule! Eating breakfast at 4pm shouldn’t become a habit, but I guess for now I’ll just deal with it…😬
So here’s today’s breakfast for lunch with FRIED CINNAMON APPLES and a CREAMY VANILLA PORRIDGE a swipe left to see the amazing texture of it 👉🏼
25g Vegan Vanilla Protein (Mine‘s from womensbest.de & I love it!)
150-250 🌱-Based Milk (or Water)
1 Apple (~150g)
Sweetener (I used ~ 1 Tbsp granulated stevia)
2 Tsp Cinnamon
1️⃣ Cut your apple, heat up a pan, soften them with a splash of water and once that’s evaporated, fry them with 1 Tsp of cinnamon & your preferred sweetener.
2️⃣ Mix up the oats, protein powder, sweetener & 1 Tsp of cinnamon. Add about 100 to 150ml of milk or water (you can also do 50/50 or 40/60 – basically milk and water can be substituted for one another😅) to see how your mixture reacts to it.
3️⃣ Heat the porridge up in a pot or in your microwave and add more liquid until you achieve your desired consistency.
And there you have it! It’s a simple, quick and healthy way to start your day with a nice fall vibe! 🥰
I topped my bowl with 🌱-based yogurt, vegan chocolate spread, flax seeds and blueberries.
